Many schools in China require native English speakers; especially those schools provide better bonus and higher salary and Chinese government requires native speakers to offer you a working visa in China. Regardless, there are jobs offered in private schools which don’t require native speakers (so long as you can speak English pretty well and don’t have a strong accent).
