Teaching English in Shenzhen is many foreigners’ choice.

Shenzhen is like a golden ticket for ESL teachers. Not only is it conveniently located near Hong Kong, making visa renewals a breeze, but it also boasts a plethora of job opportunities for those without teaching experience. Not to mention the healthy air and global lifestyle—it's a win-win situation! Employers are practically begging for teachers to fill vacancies in kindergartens, primary schools, public schools, and even universities.
If that's not enough, some companies are even hiring foreign teachers to boost their competitiveness. And did we mention the salaries? They're some of the highest in all of China. Working in Shenzhen as an ESL teacher means teaching 3-5 hours per day in schools or kindergartens, with weekends off - it's the perfect balance of work and play.
If you work as a part time teacher, 8-10 hours per week is plenty to earn a good wage.

Many experienced teachers will choose their jobs in a kindergarten as a full time teacher and part time in a training center at night (Salaries easily exceed 30,000RMB per month or 3,000GBP).
Even some teachers who live in Luohu district (There is a bridge between Shenzhen Luohu and Hong Kong), they will choose a Hong Kong school to teach part time. The cost of living in Shenzhen is lower than Hong Kong; however, you can earn higher salary in Hong Kong.
You can earn more money and save more. 


Working in Shenzhen, a BA degree and higher qualification is required; a native speaker is preferred; non-native speakers with excellent English and good accent are often accepted; a TEFL/TESOL is preferred; having working experience is preferred but not necessary.
