China will start direct flights from Seoul in South Korea to Beijing, which begins on Friday after an assessment of the current situation of the epidemic and prevention work, local authorities have said.
Xu Hejian, spokesman for the municipal government, told a news conference on Thursday that the frequency of direct flights will be only one per week.
