Beijing, April 22 (Xinhua) - Chinese president Xi Jining Thursday said it requires "extraordinarily difficult efforts" for China to comply with its commitment to pass from a carbon beak To carbon neutrality, which is in a period of time much shorter than what many developed countries could take.

Xi made observations while he goes to the climate leaders' summit through the Beijing video link.

China will endeavor by emissions of carbon dioxide peak before 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality before 2060, XI said.
