About jobs in Beijing

There are many teaching jobs available in Beijing. Such as: kindergartens, training centers, private institutions, middle/high schools, universities, private tutoring and some foreign companies. Working as a full time teacher in a public schools or universities are most of ESL teachers who have many years teaching experience. Working in those kinds of schools mean you can get higher salary and more bonus and medical benefits, and have a stable life. 

 

Working in Beijing

Teaching in Beijing is a bit different from teaching in other cities. There are lots of opportunities. Which schools you choose is depend on yourself usually working hours are 4-5 hours per day and weekends are off. If you teach English in a foreign company it depends on the working time. Companies are different from schools. You usually can earn 20000RMB per month with at least 2 year related work experience and a BA or higher. 120 hours TEFL is required.  A native speaker is demand. Teaching English in Beijing, you have your teaching style and can speak Chinese with excellent teaching experience usually you can earn more 10000 per month than who don’t have any experience. However, there are also a number of options which do not require experience as they will train you on the job. These options, of course are less paid, around 8000-10000RMB /month. But usually a BA and native speaker is required.
