The visa-free stay of foreign tourists in Hainan will be extended to 30 days, the group travel will be relaxed to personal travel. Through this policy, Hainan has been opened to the outside world. According to Hainan's 30-day visa-free entry program, foreign citizens holding passports from 59 eligible countries can enjoy a 30-day visa-free entry if they book through Hainan based travel agencies. During the 30 day visa free stay, tourists can visit the whole province of Hainan without a Chinese visa. Visa-free entry will take 30 days from 0 hours following the date of entry. (1) 6 American Countries: the United States, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile.
(2) 2 Oceania Counties: Australia, Zealand.
(3) 25 Schengen Agreement Countries: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland.
(4) 15 Other European Countries: Russia, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia (FYROM), Albania, Belarus, Monaco.
(5) 11 Asian Countries: Korea, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Kazakhstan, the Philippines, Indonesia, Brunei, United Arab Emirates, Qatar.

2, Extend the visa-free stay.
The visa-free entry period will be extended from 15 or 21 days to 30 days, promoting a more active entry market.

Areas Allowed to Stay - The Whole Hainan Province
Foreigners who meet the 30-day visa-free entry if belonging to nationalities above can travel in Hainan Province. Travel from Hainan to mainland China or extend your stay in Hainan, you can apply for an ordinary Chinese visa at the exit-entry bureau of the local Public Security Bureau.

Personal travellers cannot apply for a 30-day visa exemption in Hainan alone. This needs to be done through Chinese travel agencies. Visitors can submit the above information to the travel agency at least 48 hours before their arrival, and the travel agency will apply for visa-free entry to the Hainan exit and entry administration bureau on their behalf.
