MIT OpenCourseWare: Changing How I Think About Teaching and What a University Is
MIT OpenCourseWare has reshaped my philosophy of instruction. Previously I fretted that my pupils might never grasp the material, but now I see they exceed every expectation I set. The platform freed them to examine concepts at their own pace, and it also granted them easy access to ask doubts and receive assistance when required. I never imagined that such a simple repository could spark such profound transformation. This shift turned me into both a more effective educator and a more curious scholar. In my view, the blend of autonomy and support has forged a teaching style that feels lively and genuinely human. Every class feels like a conversation rather than a lecture, and that makes each encounter feel fresh. It also reminds me that learning thrives when curiosity is welcomed and guidance is flexible, a principle that now guides every lesson I design.
