Requirements:
Bachelor or above in Physics or Maths PhD preferred
2 years of university teaching experience in relevant subject

EAP Teacher needed at university in Hainan, Lingshui

Job Details
Position: English Language EAP Teachers native or near native competence in English
Duties and Responsibilities:
Teaching 20 hours per week each teaching hour 45mins
Teaching preparation and regular lesson planning meetings
Assessment duties standardization, marking, feedback, moderation activities
Participation in teaching seminars and professional development training
Coordination and administrative work course coordination, materials proofreading, student enrolment support, supplementary classes for students with additional support
Other duties assigned by the line manager

Requirements
Essential
Undergraduate degree or above English language Applied Linguistics Education or related fields preferred
A TESOL qualification TeflI status: : Cambridge CELTA, Trinity Cert TESOL or equivalent, which includes assessed teaching practice
A minimum of 2 years relevant teaching experience, preferably in an EAP context
Organizational, communication and inter personal skills, ability to work under pressure, ability to lead and work well in teams
Ability to use ICT effectively, including use of a virtual learning environment e.g. Moodle
Desirable
TeflQ status: Cambridge DELTA, Trinity Dip TESOL or equivalent and or relevant Masters e.g. ELT TESOL Applied Linguistics TEAP Qualification .
Experience of teaching EAP for engineering STEM undergraduates
